Water, Still
Ephemeral installation, Untitled 1995
Evaporating ephemeral floorsculpture depicts what it is made of: thick water.
Every tile consists of 17 liters of boilt water, with grinded seaweed as a gelling agent.
The rhythm of the tiles changes and gives the impression that the square is cut from a larger whole and that it could expand endlessly.
